Unlocking Capital for Social Impact Across Africa
After four years of enabling impact investing thought leadership on the continent, AVPA is officially launching its membership programme.
The premier event will convene the leading Impact players on the continent. The event is a platform for networking, learning and collaboration for Africa’s leading Impact players and the manifestation of a new paradigm in pursuit of sustainable development on the continent. The event attendees will consist of senior leaders from leading African and International Foundations, Impact, PE, and VC funds, Aid Agencies, Governments, Corporates and Family Offices. The launch event will consist of a keynote address, panel discussions, and presentations from Impact Investing stakeholders.
The AVPA launch event will be held alongside the inaugural Africa Impact Summit happening on July 13th - 14th, 2023.
The event will be live streamed across the continent.

AVPA and The Ownership Project 2.0: Private Capital Owners and Impact, a research initiative of the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, are convening a gathering for African Family Offices in Cape Town on 12 and 13 July 2023.
The convening will bring together African Family Offices to learn from their peers and together explore how to play an even more central role in catalysing positive long-term change on the continent.
The inaugural Africa Impact Summit is taking place this July to showcase how impact investing can transform the continent. The summit is a great opportunity to connect and collaborate with hundreds of investors, businesses and policymakers, accelerating the growth of impact investing across Africa
